Can we use s form verbs after the word "it"?
for example is that corrrect to say "it eats cheese"or "it plays soccer"?explain it please
"it" refers to an animal or an object: yes we can. The mouse is back! Look, it eats cheese. The car has been back to the garage, now it runs well again.
"It" never refers to a person.. so "it plays soccer" would ask for some fantasy to make sense.. the best team is Manchester United. Does it play baseball? No, it plays soccer. (one probably would use "they" here though, and not "it", though grammatically it is ok to use "it")
Yes, it is ok. You are just substituting it for "he", "she", "my mom", "Sally", or any other nouns or subjects.
You are referring to the third person singular. That is what "it" takes, as does "he" and "she."
Allergies.. no relief?!?
