Whenever I start my computer and turned on my AVR, then pressed the power button on my CPU, my monitor will also start but it doesn't detect any signal (saying "No Signal") then my monitor will have a black screen.
But when my brother turned on both the AVR and CPU (my CPU has 2 switch, the first one is the main switch at the back of it and the other is the power button in front), the monitor will detect a signal.
Can Someone help me please?
how old is the monitor? some older monitors need to be powered on at the same time as the pc or they do not detect a signal

well your cpu controls the whole computer thats why it does that
Hm...I had a similar problem. Try unplugging your computer, holding in the power button, and then re-plugging it. Sometimes that helped my computer.
It kind of sounds like a motherboard issue.
make sure its connected properly (the monitor jack in the CPU)
Then it will work ...
