Under control panel, Performance and Maintenance , Power Options.....what should I have the manufacturer model set on. It was set on none, and I have recently put it on American Power Conversion. Is this correct? This is all located under the UPS tab.
UPS refers to Uninteruptable Power Supply, so it refers to a device which prevents the computer losing power if there is a blackout. this can be as simple as a regulated car battery, or it can be something much more complex. If you don't have a UPS device installed it should be set to none.
