I read an earlier question and answer about the possibility of
RAFFLING a home in the state of Georgia ... and learned a great deal
about how difficult/illegal that would be (unless one is a 501c3
non-profit, etc.).
Since it seems to be illegal to hold a commercial lottery in the state
of GA, what about a contest based upon skill. Does anyone know the
legality and process to conduct an essay - or other type - contest
(with a $150 entry
fee) to sell a home in the state of Georgia? Ideally, the answer
will verify the legal status of such a contest and provide judging parameters,
processes and references. Thanks.
