I cannot figure out how to make my nick name show in the IM window instead of my yahoo! ID. I am a tech dummy, so I need step by step instructions, sorry! Also, I recently married and cannot get my new last name to show up...it keeps showing my old last name. Any ideas how to fix that also? Thank you!!
Start Yahoo Messenger
Go to the upper left and click 'messenger'
Scroll down and click 'preference'
Scroll down and click 'appearance'
Go down to where it asks if you want to display nickname, or Yahoo Id.
Click 'display Yahoo ID', then click 'apply'
