how and why are Haematoxylin and Eosin use?
could please fisrt explaine how then why .
thank u
Haematoxylin is used in staining processes (most frequently in histologic studies) because unlike iodine, it leaves a permanant stain. You place a sample of a substance you are trying to look at onto a microscope slip, add a drop of staining solution, and then apply a coverslip. By staining, the in-depth appearance of the sample (for example, cellular components of an algae) often becomes clearer looking under a microscope.
Eosin is also a stain used in histologic studies. It is a fluorescent red dye resulting from the action of bromine on fluorescein.
