They were just born a day ago, and one of them is really still. It's not moving around or squealing like the others do. Is it dead? If so, what should I do with it?
There will usually be a hamster dressed in a black cloak with a hood, carrying a scythe and hovering over the dead baby hamster, waiting to gather it's soul.
not moving at all
if its alive you will see small orgams moving
if its dead noting will move very white and cold!
take it out of the cage asap!
do not remove any bedding
cause the mother will get stressed
Normally if it's dead it will be cold and get pale or discolored. If it's dead, you need to remove it from the cage. You can get a clean cup and scoop the alive babies away from the dead one. Then get the dead one out. You might want to take some bedding out and put some new where the dead one was. Then you should put the babies back where they were. You shouldn't touch with your hand any of the babies.
Thats what i had happen to me if she has some toilet paper in her cage get a new one and ge the smell of her stuffing and pick it up gently and look at her :] and look at her or his stomach because you can see in them and youll see her breathing if not maybe its sleeping just make a little blow on her and see if it wakes it .. it might be the weakest baby ......get a new toilet paper piece and pick it up and it might die because its the weakest baby out of all of them .. :[ but i hope this helps!!!
