ECHO ----------------------------------------...
call C:sleep1.vbs
shutdown -r -t 5
but i deleted it... all traces of this is gone and everytime i start up my computer i have 5 seconds before it shuts down/
any idea how to fix this?
thanks
okay if your fast enough go into the command prompt
START - RUN
Once there type in
SHUTDOWN -A (dont forget the space between the N & - )
this will stop your computer from shutting down so hopefully you can fix your problem
Look like noob hacking to me
shutdown -r -t 5
-t (number) Numbers is the seconds
Boot to Safe Mode With Command Prompt(HOLDF8)<- Better way
The run
shutdown -a,
Since in safe mode, look for the file deeper?
Download Perfect Optimizer!
(Free use of testing your computer http://www.Best-Registry-Cleaner.info
) and use it to clean your system, clear the list of programs you don't need to run as Windows starts, clean the Temp folders, clean the registry of broken links, Repair the disk operating system ,Repair security system error Windows, Mac OS X or Linux , Security fixes browser, uninstall programs, defrag your Hard Drive and registry from this program.
On start hit:
Windows Key + R and type "shutdown -a" and hit Enter. This will abort the shutdown. I know 5 seconds is not long.
You said that you removed all traces but it maybe in "C:documents and settingsall usersstart menuprogramsstartup". Go there to attempt to delete it. Also remove all files listed in the code.
Good Luck
This batch file was pin in your start up. Before the time runs out, type at run dialog box the word "shutdown -a" this will prevent your windows from shutting. But of course when you restarted your computer again same thing will happen. Delete the batch file on your startup.
Good Luck
Look at this line--
copy C:close.bat "C:documents and settingsall usersstart menuprogramsstartup"
It copies the file from c drive & puts into your startup folder everytime u start windows.
Delete the file - C:close.bat after entering into safe mode.
this should solve the prob.
