I got the monitor last night, plugged it up and it worked fine. I went to compose a letter (this morning) and it said "No Signal"
first off try checking your connector power down the machine and completely unhook the monitor and then hook it back up.
If that doesn't work try re installing the video drivers
Your computer probably went to sleep when you did. Do you have it set to Hibernate or Sleep after a certain period of time has elapsed? Hit your spacebar to wake it up.
If not, the only other 2 things that may be wrong are either:
a) VGA/DVI cable (whichever one you use to connect to your computer) is loose. Jiggle it.
b) Your GFX card fried.
You have power since you're monitor is telling you it has "No signal", so the power cable and the monitor are fine.
I'm also experiencing this kind of problem until now.
My CPU has two switch, in front and at the back.
My Monitor's brand is AOC
When my brother turned on both my AVR and the switch at the back of my CPU at the same time then pressed the front switch before the monitor loads, the monitor works.
Check the signal cable with the blue connector from the monitor to the system unit; if is well connected and tightened. Also make sure you turn on the computer. it is normal for the monitor to say " No Signal" when the computer is turned off or the signal cable is disconnected and the monitor is still connected to the electricity/power.
Well, you just typed here, so it seems to be okay now. Usually a dodgy connection. Check the back of the monitor, and back of the machine connections.
Hope this helps.
