AP U.S. Gov't and AP Macro. Ec.?
I already chose American Government/ Economics Honors for next year. I was considering taking AP since some of my friends will take it and others like it. However, I never took a government or economics class before, I took civics in 7th grade and I got an A. I took world history honors and I got an A, this year I'm in American history honors and I have an A. When I ask my friends if I should take AP they tell me to go for it. What do you learn in those AP classes and how challenging are they, the class and the AP exam? I'm not really a strong writer, and this will be taken online.
I'm a Jr. In High school...and this will be my first AP course IF I plan on doing so...
AP courses aren't as challenging as u assume them to be. everything is very straight forward. there's no hidden answers or w/e. all the AP courses are taught based on AP guidlines. so the teachers realli cn't just poke in hw and weird test questions like they want to. just take AP. you'll get COllege credit and save TONS of time and MONEY wen ur in college. plus. AP realli prepares you for college. most AP classes, you really dnt have hw. i mean you do, but they are all reading. you read ALOT more in APs than you realli do in the same course in college. i guess the AP teachers just want to prepare you better. but just take it. it's not hard. u just need to put in time and effort an realize that it's just studying like anyother class. but you're expected to know everything by the time the AP test comes around to learn it. so enjoi!
