Hello,
I have a 8600 Gt video card on a quad Q6600 running on vista. For some reason my computer doesn't wanna to find my second monitor. I have two VGA to DVI converters. and for some reason my computer only detects one. This a new issue it used to work and overnight it just stopped.
Stupid thing is that the second monitor is plugged into the primary slot so when the computer turns on it shows everything on that monitor and then when vista start it switches over to the other.
So if someone could please help
What happened with my GTX 260 is that my video card driver installed the wrong user driver automatically and only caused one of the DVI ports to work.
My friend has a 9800 GTX with dual monitor and it was just one of his ports that went out. He had to go get it replaced.
Revised: Also look at the pin connectors, If one of those are slightly bent out of place or have a little corrosion, then it will cause it not to function.
Allergies.. no relief?!?
