A while ago any DVD I played on my computer worked fine, but recently whenever I put one in they started looking like this: http://img393.imageshack.us/img393/4273/...
the sound is normal and all but the video rendering comes out horrid like that.
I use Windows Media Player 11 or whatever the newest version is, and I also have tried using Classic Media Player, Zoom Player, and Real Player to see if the problem is helped, but it's not.
I also know that is has nothing to do with the bit rate / resolution on my screen since I also tried doing that.
I would try to restore my computer to back when the E: drive actually read the DVD right but unfortunately for some reason I have no restore points past the last week.
system info: Dell XPS 410
Monitor: SCEPTRE KomodoV 19" LCD
any help would be totally appreciated and I couldn't say thank you enough, cause I really have no idea what happen/is happening.
