I would like to connect a TV in the place of the computer monitor. I have connected the monitor cable to the same connection on the TV, but it is not working. There are the channels plus S video, AV1 and AV2. After connecting I pushed fn and f5, but still no result. Glad for any help. Thanks.
Hmm... sounds like your TV oesn't support VGA, the standard monitor cable, otherwise there would be an option to use that as a channel. If you do have a VGA channel, it's that one.
I presume you're connecting via the S video cable. Make sure you've got a proper converter if you're video card doesn't use a s-video out.
You'll likely have to go into the video card control panel software and enable the TV out option. This should trigger the s-video out port.
